Azam fC extend Kingue contract

Mainland Premier League side Azam fC has extended a contract with their midfielder Stephan Kingue.

The club have extended a year’s contract to the Cameroonian player. Kingue joined Azam fC in november last year in a contract that has now elapsed, but has been renewed for the same period.

Azam extended the contract after being satis- fied with his work, club officials said.

Azam fC information officer, Jaffar Idd, said yesterday that the player’s performance had impressed head coach Aristica Cioaba.

Jaffar said that the player is disciplined and his input has been improving gradually.

The Cameroonian star has been helpful to Azam in the defence, which has allowed just two goals in 10 games.

Azam fC are ranked second in the 16-team league with 22 points, tying with Simba who lodged the same points but prides a better goal difference.
