Simba head coach Joseph Omog said yesterday that his team was in top shape to win the game, while noting that they respect their opponents despite that they are not a premier league side.
“Although Madini FC is a small team we cannot underrate them. They must be a good team, that is why they have reached this far,” Omog said.
Meanwhile, Kagera Sugar host Mbao FC in another quarterfinal match at the Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba.
Kagera Sugar head coach Mecky Mexime said the game is expected to be tough and the better team will go through.
The remaining quarters will be played in later dates when defending champions Young Africans meet Tanzania Prisons and Azam FC entertain Ndanda FC of Mtwara.
