



The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has congratulated Singida Regional Football Association (SIREFA) for electing new office bearers over the weekend.
The federation’s information officer, Boniface Wambura, said through a press statement released yesterday that the new office bearers should respect their voters who put them in power.
The election saw Baltazar Kimario voted to the chairmanship post for the first time.
Other leaders voted into office are Hussein Mwamba (secretary general), Gabriel Gunda (assistant secretary general), Gabriel Mwanga (treasurer), Hamisi Kitila (a representative in TFF’s general assembly), Omari Salum (TFF’s representative for clubs), Yagi Kiaratu and Dafi Dafi are members of the executive committee.
Other posts such as vice-chairman, assistant treasurer and two other executive members will be chosen during a mini-election to be held at a date to be announced later.
