Manywele Kimwana wa Twanga Pepeta dancers compete.

Mary Khamisi is the new Manywele Kimwana wa Twanga Pepeta.
She outclassed nine other candidates in the final of a dancing competition held in Dar es Salaam on Friday night.
Mary was awarded a cosmetic shop worth Sh5m while first runner-up
Leyla Mshana got Sh 500,000.

Hawa Miraji finished third and pocketed Sh300, 000 as fourth-placed Mariam Mwakyoma  and the remaining six  contestants were awarded Sh 100,000 each.

The first three winners will be recruited as dancers of the high-flying African Stars Band `Twanga Pepeta’.
Dar es Salaam Mayor Didas Masaburi graced the event which was sponsored by EATV/East Africa Radio, Vodacom Foundation and Kilimanjaro beer.
