Ngorongoro Heroes

The friendly international between Tanzania’s under 17 boys soccer team, The Ngorongoro Heroes, against visiting counterparts from Egypt has been pushed back to next month.

The match was supposed to be played at the National Stadium later this weekend.

 A letter from the Egypt Football Association (EFA) addressed   to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) detailed the postponement to next month. The Egyptian FA attributed to the cancellation as a result of flight reservations.

The cancelled match was supposed to be part of the Ngorongoro team’s preparations as they gear up for Africa U-17 qualifier against Nigeria on July 29.

Ngorongoro Heroes are training under their new coach Jakob Michelsen. The team lined up friendlies against Rwanda on July 14 and 16.
