Ugandan boxer Sunday Kizito is expected to board a flight to Dar es Salaam to contest for IBF Africa continental feather weight title against Tanzanian Ramadhani Shauri during the Eid El Fitr festivals next month.

Kizito is Uganda’s national super bantam weight title holder and is said to be focusing on adding another belt to his credit besides UBO and ICB titles.
Kizito’s opponent Shauri has been given the opportunity to contest for the IBF title based on his recent performance, particularly after defeating Kenyan boxer Gabriel Ochieng.

IBF Africa spokesman Yassin Abdullah said preparations for the bout are in progress and as for the boxers, they are upbeat as well.
.
The bout will be preceded by several others as boxer Nassibu Ramadhani will face Kenyan Twalib Mubiru on eight- round super fly contest.

Ramadhani Mashudi and namesake Mkundi will tussle in bantam weight, Seba Temba and Jonas Segu in super lightweight while feather weight boxers Bakari Dunda and name sake Maulidi will lock horns in a six-round clash.

Iringa-based boxer Chupaki Chipindi will entertain Robert Mrosso from Arusha in a four-round super heavy weight bout.

All bouts are promoted by Lucas Rutainurwa whose contribution in the game’s support is well documented.
