CCM presidential running mate Dr Mohamed Gharib Bilal has urged Manyara residents to measure the development brought about by the ruling party in the region within a short period before they decided, who they were going to vote for in the forthcoming general elections.
He said CCM had done a great job and the work was proceeding, including connecting the region with other regions through lined infrastructures, a project that would be completed in the near future.
“Have you seen road projects being implemented and the provision of health services including the construction of health centres and schools to make people access the services nearby their homes?” Dr Bilal asked.
Dr Bilal is in Manyara for election campaigns and held campaign rallies in Babati-urban, Babati-rural, Hanang and Mbulu districts.
Addressing the rallies yesterday, Dr Bilal reminded people about the contribution of the first president Mwalimu Julius Nyerere in the country, saying the only political party, which followed what he had left was CCM.
He, however, sensitised people to ensure that they turned out in big numbers to vote for CCM candidates on October 31.
“Look at the number of countries coming to our country to learn …they are being surprised by the way we live in peace and harmony. I believe this is a good example to trust the way CCM is organised to keep the nation in peace,” he noted.
