Six-Time Kagame Cup winners Simba will be in action against Djibouti’s Ports  in their second match of the Kagame Cup in Group A at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam today.

The Mainland champions will be kicking off the game with a shoddy background having lost the opener to Uganmda Revenue Authority last Sunday.
Ports, who concecded seven goals at the hands of APR during their opening match also played on Sunday afternoon, have equally the same task of winning today’s tie to revive hopes pf progressing into the quarterfinals.

For Simba a second back-to-back defeat would open a slim chance of making a progression into the last eight stage of the tournament.

The Simba-Ports match will be preceded by probably the day’s most interesting match between URA and AS Vita from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Vita is leading the pack of the Group A teams with three points and seven goals for while they have kept a clean sheet so far.

Lowly placed in the group standings is Ports who have to upgrade their playing standard to beat Simba and weigh their quarterfinal progression probabilities.
