The national under 20 team coach Kim Poulsen has bragged his team would emerge victorious in the African Nations Cup youth qualifier tie against visiting Sudan to be played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam today.
Poulsen told members of the press during a conference that his boys have been practicing hard and are likely to post victory over Sudan.
Poulsen’s Sudanese counterpart Azhari Osman El Tahir said he has no knowledge of the Tanzania team but the preparations have been smooth ahead of the clash.
He said Sudan join the fray in youth championship after long spell on the sidelines.
.Kick off time is 16:0 hours as fans have been invited to attend the match procession.
Sudan arrived in Dar es Salaam on Thursday with a contingent of 20 players and ten officials.
The Khartoum return leg tie will be played n a fortnight. Ugandan referee Brian Miiro will be assisted by Lee Patabali and Denis Batte.
Ethiopian Ejigu Ashenafi is the match commissioner in the qualifier tie whose finals will be held in March in Algeria.
Four top placed teams in the tournament to be held in Algeria would qualify to compete at the world youth championship to be staged in Turkey between June and July next year.
