The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has announced entry fees for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying round first leg tie involving Taifa Stars against Mozambique (Black Mambas) to be held at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on February 29.

According to the TFF media officer, Boniface Wambura, the lowest fee will be 3,000/- per ticket for blue and green stands which can accommodate 36,693 fans in the multi-purpose stadium with a seating capacity of 60,000.

The two teams last met in a friendly match in April last year in Maputo where the hosts won 2-0.

Other entry fees are 5,000/- for the orange stands, 10,000/- for the VIP C, 15,000/- for the VIP B while those wishing to watch the match from the VIP A stands will pay 20,000/- per ticket.

The tickets will be sold one day before the tie at the Benjamin Mkapa Secondary School, Bigbon Petrol Station at Msimbazi Street (Kariakoo), Steers restaurant at Samora/Ohio roads, Oilcom Ubungo and at the National Stadium.

In another development, Wambura has said any region which wants to host the finals of the best nine teams of the First Division League (FDL) should be prepared to pay 25m/- which will be used to organize the event.

He said all regions which are members of TFF have rights to host the finals but explained that only four regions have already requested officially to host the event.

He named the four regions as Mwanza, Ruvuma, Mbeya and Tabora.

The TFF media officer insisted that the door is still open for others to bid and any region which feels that can meet the requirement of paying 25m/- should inform the federation before March 15.

He said the FDL finals will start on March 31 instead of March 17 as earlier indicated.
