Acting secretary general of CHANETA Rose Mkisi said her association is struggling to secure an international netball friendly match for the national team.
Mkisi said her body is still expanding the search horizon so that the national team secures matches to keep players in form.
A total of 52 players have been camped at Kibaha for training before the matches are secured.
Despite having sending numerous invitations to a number of national netball associations, Chaneta has not got a positive response from any.
Failure to secure the matches, then Mkisi said Chaneta would wait until July for matches that are sanctioned and organised by the International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA).
The IFNA event would be used as build up to the next year’s World Championship to be held in Singapore.
Mkisi said Chaneta will work with the Government to plan ahead strategies for the Singapore tournament.
Chaneta is also searching for a well qualified coach to polish the team now under tutelage of Mary Protas.
