Lindi Urban MP Bar`wani promises diligent service

1st December 2010

Lindi-Urban Member of Parliament on the ticket of opposition CUF party, Salum Bar’wani, has expressed deep appreciation to the electorate in his constituency for electing him in this year’s general election.

He made the remark last weekend during a ceremony to congratulate him for wining the seat.

The MP, who succeeded Mohamed Abdulaziz of the ruling CCM, said that he is indebted to the people in his constituency, whom he assured dedicated and diligent service in the next five years.

Bar’wani, himself an albino, assured the people that he would work hard to fulfill all the promises he made during the campaigns ahead of the end of last month’s parliamentary polls in his constituency.

He said during his five-year term, as lawmaker for the constituency, he would focus on the development issues affecting people the most.

Bar’wani told the gathering that he would also work hard to build the good environment for the delivery of essential services to the people, namely water, education and health.
