The winner of this year’s Redds Miss Kinondoni has been asked to have good discipline and behave well so that the society should respect the title.
The Redds Miss Kinondoni will be held today at the Mlimani Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam and the winner will be awarded 2m/- from Papa zzi entertainment company and a 21 inch TV with a decorder from Star Times.
The first and second runners up will take home 1.5m/- each while the fourth and fifth winners will get 1,000,000/- each.
Those who will emerge number 6-10 will receive 500.000/= each whereby all other contestants will get 300.000/= each.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Guardian, Redds Grand Manager Victoria Kimaro said time has come for the queens to behave well so that the society should respect the Redds Miss Kinondoni title.
She was speaking this when all 13 contestants of the pageant paid a visit to sponsors of the event Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL)
Kimaro said that discipline is very important in every competition.
"As the sponsors of the event, we would like to see that who ever wins the title should behave well so that the society respect the title and the office," she said.
Kimaro added: “I would like to ask all queens of Redds Miss Kinondoni never to use their popularity badly. They have to show good behaviour in society,"
She said as one way of recognizing beauty and discipline, her company will award the most disciplined queen.
The Redds Miss Kinondoni event is organized by Boy George promotion company and the executive director of the company, Rahmat Yusuph, asked the contestants to behave well.
The event will be spiced up by entertainment from Tanzania House of Talents (THT) and other groups.
