Intermediate league underway in Moro

28th March 2012

Tabora Rhino Rangers and Police Dar es Salaam teams are expected to lock horns in the intermediate football league that kicks off at the Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro on Saturday.

Two matches will be played on daily basis in the nine-team league aimed at promoting the top four teams into the Mainland premiership berth.

The first match kicks off at 14.00 hours and the final one is two hours later at the same venue.

Morogoro Regional Football Association has parted with 20.5m/- out of the sanctioned 25m/- required to cater for the running of the league.

The balance of the sanctioned fee will be paid by the Morogoro football authorities through services to run the league.
