Nine Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) workers have left for Egypt for a three-week tour aimed at increasing business and investment relations between the two countries.
The government of Tanzania has sponsored the visit while Egypt will host them and build their capacity by arranging for them meetings with prospective investors, and visits to various places.
“We hope that your visit to Egypt will help strengthen relations between our two countries in the areas of business and investment,” TIC Acting Executive Director Raymond Mbilinyi told them when presenting them with air tickets recently in Dar es Salaam.
Mbilinyi thanked the government of Egypt for the opportunity for the staff to learn more about the county’s potential in investments. “The government has sponsored you so that you go and learn about Egypt’s potential and areas where we can work together for the benefit of both countries,” Mbilinyi said
