Several feared dead in Mtwara mayhem
The National Assembly adjourned prematurely yesterday evening following mayhem in Mtwara in which people said to be protesting the government’s plan to construct a gas pipeline from the region to Dar es Salaam clashed with riot police. Sources said the ensuing running battles.

EPZA woos 15 new investors with 200 billion/- capital
The Tanzania Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) has received 15 new investors with a combined capital of US$123m, equivalent to about 200bn/-, with a potential of creating 13,947 direct jobs. Awarding certificates to the 15 investors at EPZA’s headquarters in Dar es.
