Simba`s opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup last 16 duels Al Ahly Shandy are expecetd to jet in Dar es Salaam today.
The Sudanese side will get down to business against their hosts Simba at the national Stadium on Sunday.
Simba’s information officer Ezekiel Kamwaga said through his press release availed to the members of the press that players have been attending practice session without any fuss.
A contingent comprising 30 Al Shandy players and officials are expected around noon on board Ethiopia Airlines.
Referees and match commissioner are expected to arrive tomorrow all the way from Rwanda and Swaziland, respectively.
The highest entry fee for match has been set at 5,000/- for the blue colored seat stand and the highest is 30,000/- for the VIP A stand. Other charges are 10,000/- for orange colored seat stand, 15,000/- and 20,000 for the VIP B stand.
Tickets will be on sale as from Friday morning in designated vendors across the city.
Kamwaga ruled out the question of ticket scarcity as fans have been assured of their availability.
Kamwaga said his club has expressed appreciation to the Government for allowing to have practice sessions at the National Stadium ahead of the Sunday clash.
Simba cruised into the last 16 stage of the Confederation Cup after knocking out Algeria’s Entente Setif by 4-3 aggregate goals. The Tanzanian side was a beneficiary of a bonus goal as they went down 3-1 during the return leg played in Setif after a flawless 2-0 goals home win.
It was their Ugandan import Emanuel Okwi who revived hopes of making progression in the tourney through his last-gasp goal deep into stoppage time in Setif.
Before dispatching the Algerian side, Simba breezed past Rwanda side Kiyovu Sport by 3-2 goals aggregate in close shave circumstances last month.
