A 3-0 win at home in the Confederation Cup first leg tie gives Simba SC an excellent chance of advancing into the next round as they play Al Ahly Shandy in Sudan today.

Hosts Al Ahly Shandy will need to do an extra job to equal the score and add an extra goal in order to go through, not an easy task but in soccer everything is possible.

Simba have been complaining that the home side was behaving badly to frustrate players so that they lose the sense of the game set to kick off at 8pm. There are reports that Al Ahly Shandy are not easy to beat at home and always play the game in and off the pitch.

This time it looks as if their mission will not be accomplished, after the mistake of allowing a massive defeat in the first leg match in Dar es Salaam two weeks ago.

They will be required to win by a 4-0 margin for them to go through, not quite a feat one puts up each other month.

Simba coach Milovan Circovic said after arrival in Sudan that it is going to be a do or die game.

“Our mission is to win. We do not care much of what they have done to us,” the coach intoned.

However, Al Ahly Shandy defenders are concerned about ace striker Emmanuel Okwi and they have sworn to mark him thoroughly. Their defenders will also be alert with Patrick Mafisango and Haruna Moshi 'Boban.' The winners of today’s game will qualify for the last eight in the continental tourney.

Simba starting line up is expected to be Juma Kaseja, Shomari Kapombe, Amir Maftah, Obadia Mungusa, Kelvin Yondani, Patrick Mafisango, Uhuru Selemani, Mwinyi Kazimoto, Felix Sunzu, Haruna Moshi 'Boban' and Emmanuel Okwi.
