Kenyan musician in Dar`s heart-breaking show

Kenyan Hip hop musician Ramadhani Chambo Sharamaí will launch his album ëBreaking the Boundariesí in Dar es Salaam today.

Sharama said yesterday that he will entertain Tanzanians with his Ukoo Flani Maumau crew at Mzuka Record in the city after making preparations with the assistance of Benjamini wa Mambojambo.

His album is bound to ruffle feathers within the local hip-hop scene due to its diverse content. The tracks on this album spread messages of daily life, hope, and love as well as club hits.

The launch will move parallel with that of ëHaileweki of Tanzanian Afro singer Totoo ze Bingwa.

Supporting artists in todayís night show will be Ukoo Flani Maumau artists from Kenya, 20 percent, Benjamini wa Mambojambo, Zolla D and Akudo Impact.

Sharama was born in 1981. He started his music career when he joined Ukoo Flani from Mombasa in 2000 where he did his first video featuring ëUkochonoí.

In 2003, as part of Ukoo Flani, he and the group did the album Mafunzo Skia followed by album ëKilio Cha Hakií in 2005 and ëDandora Burningí.

He has also done several videos such as Street Hustler, Bouncing and Kichwa Kibovu with his old partner Cannibal.

Other hits are Burn them, Hip hop halisi, Sura, Tabia, Maskani, Ndani ya game and Love.
