The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has set up 1,000/- as a minimum entry fee to be charged to spectators wishing to watch a friendly international match between the national women soccer team, Twiga Stars, and their visiting South African counterparts on Sunday.
The match will be played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam and used as a gauge for both teams ahead of their African Women Championship qualifiers set for next weekend.
The kick off time is 16.30 as spectators for VIP A and B would part with 10,000/- and 5,000/- respectively.
This will be Twiga Stars final build up match before boarding a flight to Addis Ababa where they are expected to play the first leg of the final qualifier round against their Ethiopian counterparts on May 27.
South African Football Association’s (SAFA) security manager Percy Makhanya has already arrived in Dar es Salaam to organise the team’s arrival itinerary.
The South African team, Banyana Banyana, is lined up against their counterparts from Zambia with the first leg to be played next weekend in Lusaka.
Stars are eyeing to appear for the second time in the team’s history for the championship to be hosted by Equatorial Guinea, one of the continent’s stalwarts in women football.
