Organizers of the Redds Miss Tanzania, Lino International agency said yesterday that they want the winners of this year event to display seriousness in their work by organizing charitable activities in the country.
Lino International agency executive chairman Hashim Lundenga said time has come for contestants to show seriousness so that the community can look at them as role models, adding that organizers want the winner of this year’s miss Tanzania to be a well knowledgeable person to represent the country well at the miss world event .
"We want to show people out there that we are very serious and we believe time has come for the general public to start looking at contestants of Miss Tanzania as role models” said he
On her part, Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL) Redds Brand Manger, Victoria Kimaro said her company is committed to supporting beauty industry in the country saying stressing that beauty like any other trade can be a source of income if contestants, organizers and people involved are serious.
Kimaro also assured participants that the brewers would do all the best to organize, organise the event from preliminary stage to the final stage with high degree of precision to meet the satisfaction of the entire fleet of fans across the country.
T B L signed a three-year contract with Lino Agency as principal sponsors for the country’s premier beauty pageantry, the Miss Tanzania.
The brewers will be in charge of sponsorship with effect from this year’s edition set for September in Dar es Salaam to the 2012.
At the launch early this year Lundenga, promised beauty fans and all those who follow the beauty shows with a tenacious zeal should expect more fascinating and thrilling events for the opening season right from the preliminaries.
