Three soccer stakeholders are out eyeing to replace the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) president, Leodegar Chilla Tenga, after collecting their forms yesterday.
The three who collected the forms eyeing for the TFF presidency are the incumbent first vice president of the federation Athuman Jumanne Nyamlani, Kagera Regional Football Association (KRFA) chairman Jamal Emil Malinzi and Kigoma Regional Football Association chairman Omari Mussa Nkwarulo.
According to the TFF media officer, Boniface Wambura, 30 aspirant candidates are already in the race eyeing for various posts in the soccer governing body’s general meeting slated for February 24 in Dar es Salaam.
However, the total includes only aspirant candidates who collected their forms at TTF’s offices since the forms can also be obtained on its website (www.tff.or.tz) and the deadline is tomorrow at 04:00pm.
Another stakeholder who collected the form yesterday was Mbeya Regional Football Association (MREFA) chairman, Elias Mwanjala, who is vying for the executive committee membership representing Iringa and Mbeya Zone.
Full list of aspirants who have already collected the forms at the TFF’s offices are Athuman Jumanne Nyamlani, Jamal Emil Malinzi and Omari Mussa Nkwarulo (president), Michael Wambura, Ramadhan Nassib and Wallace Karia (vice president).
Those vying for TFF executive committee memberships and their zones in brackets are Salum Chama (Kagera and Geita), Mugisha Galibona, Samuel Nyalla, Titus Osoro and Vedastus Lufano (Mara and Mwanza), Epaphra Swai and Mbasha Matutu (Shinyanga and Simiyu).
Others are Charles Mugondo, Elly Mbise and Twahili Njoki (Arusha and Manyara), Yusuph Kitumbo (Kigoma and Tabora), Ayubu Nyaulingo, Nazarius Kilungeja and Selemani Kameya (Katavi and Rukwa), James Mhagama (Njombe and Ruvuma) and Athuman Kambi (Lindi and Mtwara).
Others vying for the post are Hussein Mwamba and Stewart Masima (Dodoma and Singida), Farid Nahdi (Morogoro and Pwani), Elias Mwanjala (Iringa and Mbeya), Khalid Mohamed (Kilimanjaro and Tanga) and Muhsin Balhabou, Shaffih Dauda and Zafarani Damoder (Dar es Salaam).
Only two stakeholders have collected forms for the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPL Board) leadership, with Yusuph Manji vying for the chairmanship while Said Mohamed is eyeing the vice chairman post.
