Cameroon has named its team that will play Taifa Stars in a Fifa date friendly match against Taifa Stars scheduled for next Wednesday at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Information Officer, Boniface Wambura, said yesterday that the team will be captained by world class player Samuel Eto’o.
Wambura said the team will come with a contingent of 36 people of whom there are 21 players, the Indomitable Lions.
He said the team will arrive in Dar es Salaam tomorrow.
Apart from Et’oo, other players in the squad are Charles Itandje, Benoit Assou Ekoto, Jehu Rustand Youthe, Fabrice Olinga Essono, Allam Nyam, Bouba Aminou, Benoit Angwa, Herve Tchami, Henri Bedimo, Nicolas Nkoulou and Jean Makoun.
Others are Jean Kana Biyick, Joel Matip, Vincent Aboubakar, Alexandre Song, Andre Nguemo, Pierre Wome, Jean Nyontcha, Achille Emana and Charles Eloundou.
Officials are Andre Nguidljol Nlend (Fecafoot technical director), Jean Paul Akono (head coach), Martin Ndtouungou Mpile (assistant coach), Jacques Song’o (keepers’ trainer), Dr Boubakar Sidiqi (physician) and Emmanuel Francis Ambane (psychologist).
There are also Tchonkontey Monkam (fitness trainer), Rigobert Song (team manager), Aoudou Mvotoung (security), Fouda Pascal Linus (information officer), Boubakar Ndou (kits manager), Daniel Tcheuffa Tecky (physiotherapist), Elias Kalaguem (physiotherapist) and Justin Addo (Fifa agent).
The contingent also comprises Dieudone Wassi (Cameroon government representative) and John Ndeh (FECAFOOT vice president).
Wambura said the entrance fees for the game will range from 5,000/- on popular stand to 30,000/- at the main stand.
Meanwhile, Taifa Stars will assemble today in a Dar hotel to prepare for the game.
