The October 14 Bongo Stars Search Second Chance will not be complete without the presence of the Nigerian music artiste N'Abania, or popularly known as 'Mr Flavour'.

Diamond Jubilee Hall in Dar es Salaam is the venue of the finals expected to be a rare thriller for the season.

N'Abania’s favourite composition that has been a hit in most of the radio and television stations across the continent is known as ‘Ashawoo’.

Benchmark Production’s executive Ritha Poulsen, who is coordinating the show, said the Nigerian is expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam two days ahead of the final.

The event is expected to start at 19:00 hours as part of marking Nyerere Day, the day when the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Julius Nyerere, died in a London Hospital in 1999.

Poulsen said preparations towards the event have been finalized while calling fans to turn up in big number for the biggest ever entertainment show.

She urged fans to turn up so as to witness how the Bongo Stars have in store after being polished by experts kindly brought into the country by Benchmark Productions firm.

The winner of the BSS event would take home a staggering prize package to the tune of 40m/-.

Runner-up and third placed finishers have ten and five million shillings to rejoice.

In tussle for the top prize fund are Waziri Salum, Rogers Lucas, Haji Ramadhani and the only female competitor, Bella Kombo.

“Music fans still have the opportunity to vote for the musician of their choice as the event comes closer to the final. We have devised a new structure that upgrades the BSS show,” said Poulsen.

Entrance tickets for the final show will be on sale through selected vendors across Dar es Salaam on Tuesday.

Mariam Mohamed is the winner of the previous edition, the only BSS champion who featured Taarab-styled songs since the event was inaugurated.
