Thirty beauty queens will begin a camp on Monday ahead of the Vodacom Miss Tanzania 2011 pageant.
Lino Agency Director Hashim Lundenga said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that the aspirants have been selected from 11 different zones to represent in the Miss Tanzania competition this year.
The participation of aspirants in this yearís Miss Tanzania contest are a result of selections from the ward, district and regional competitions.
Lundenga named the Miss Tanzania aspirants as Chiaru Masonobo (Dar es Salaam Zone), Zerulia Manoko, Maua Kimambo, Dalilah Ghalib and Christine Mwenegoha (Central Zone), Christine William, Atu Daniel and Leyla Juma (Southern highlands Zone).
Others are Zubeda Seif, Stacey Alfred, Rose Hubert (Northern Zone), Husna Twalib, Cynthia Kimasha and Mwajabu Juma (Temeke Zone), Neema Mtitu and Weirungu David (Open University of Tanzania), Glory Lory and Blessing Ngowi (Higher Learning).
They also include Loveness Flavian, Asha Salehe and Mariaclara Mathayo (Eastern Zone), Trace Sospeter, Irene Karugaba and Glory Samwel (Lake Zone), Stella Mbuge, Husna Maulid, Hamisa Hussein (Kinondoni Zone) and Salha Israel, Alexia William and Jenifer Kakolaki (Ilala Zone).
ìIf a contestants does observe punctuality in reporting to the camp, she will be deleted from the list of participants,î Lundenga warned.
