African Stars “Twanga Pepeta” and Mashauzi Classic “Wakali wa Kujiachia” will today perform at the launch of Miss Tabata 2012 at Da’ West Park, Tabata.

Godfrey Kalinga, the co-ordinator of the event, said yesterday that the launch would go simultaneously with Easter celebrations.

Aspirants from Miss Dar City Centre and Ukonga will also be introduced at the event organized by Bob Entertainment and Keen Arts under the sponsorship of Konyagi, a brand of Tanzania Distilleries Limited, he said.

Twanga Pepeta and Mashauzi Classic promised to give a colourful entertainment to music lovers on the special day, he told the media.

“Fans will have a chance to see contestants who will vie for the Miss Tabata crown this year,” he affirmed, noting that after the introduction contestants will continue with the rehearsal at the same place to prepare for the final event to be held later next month.
