A collision at Mwenge caused by a drunken motorist in which a child was killed. There are increasing calls from the public for punitive action to be taken against irresponsible drivers who endanger lives. Currently, causing death by dangerous driving amounts to manslaughter, and doesn’t carry a prison sentence, but a fine. Therefore there is a great need for major changes in the law, and quickly!
