In an effort to go a step further professionally and take Bongoflava music to another level, talented and famous artist, Afro Man who features Lady Jay Dee in his current hit 'Zaidi Yako' has said 2012 is the year he plans to extend his wings to the East Africa Community (EAC) market.
Speaking to this newspaper in Dar es Salaam yesterday, Afro Man whose real name is Rashid Nusukoti said he is well prepared and will soon introduce his hits to the East African market.
"I need to use the East African common market opportunity to introduce my songs to the East African market. I want to conquer the markets in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi," said a confident Afro Man.
Afro Man said he is currently preparing the hit 'Hawavumi’ which will be out very soon. “I’m sure the track ‘Hawavumi’ will be a hit all over the region, because both the vocal and instrumentals are well organized and I’m sure to beat competition in the market,” he said.
The singer said the beats prepared by Twins of Roca Tizy from Morogoro are ready and mentioned Makochali of MJ Records as the producer. “My fans should be ready to enjoy the hit any time from now."
To ensure he survives competition in the EAC market, Afro Man says he has made sure all his hits are unique thanks to his 'Kengeta Style'. Details on this? His fans “should just wait and see for themselves.”
He is confident that Kengeta will be enjoyed and adored by all, be it children, adolescents and adults. The style, he says is what he believes will make him stand out from the crowd!
