The Tanzania national youth teams trainer, Jakob Michelsen, has unveiled a provisional squad of 29 players chosen from the just ended Copa Coca-Cola tournament.
Seven of them have been earmarked for the U-17 national team, the Serengeti Boys’. The U-17 team is expected to camp ahead of continental qualifier game against Kenya next month.
The seven who are in the Coca-Cola squad but would serve for the Serengeti Boys team as well are Abdallah Baker Abdallah Kheri (Unguja Urban West), Calvin Manyika (Rukwa), Dickson Ambunda (Mwanza), Miza Abdallah (Kinondoni) and Morogoro duo of Mzamiru Said and Hassan Mganga.
The rest of the players have been called to form a team expected to compete in the annual international Copa Coca-Cola tournament to be held in South Africa.
The Coca-Cola provisional squad will be trimmed to 16 players who will board a flight to Johannesburg for the international tourney.
