The Mainland Premier League continues tomorrow at four different venues.

Seventh-placed Coastal Union will host ninth-placed Ruvu Shooting at the Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga while the relegation-threatened Villa Squad will be away to the fourth-placed Mtibwa Sugar at the Manungu Stadium, Turian in Morogoro.

Police Dodoma, who are at the bottom of the league’s standings, will entertain the league’s surprise packages Oljoro JKT now sitting in fifth position.

Meanwhile, the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has made some changes to the Mainland Premier League fixtures to pave the way for two matches expected to be played by the national soccer team (Taifa Stars) on February 23 and 29 at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Taifa Stars are expected to play a friendly match against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on February 23 before facing Mozambique six days later in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying round.

The changes have been made following agreements reached by Premier League’s teams earlier that the league will be suspended to pave the way for Taifa Stars whenever the national team has a match to play.

Following the changes, Ruvu JKT now will face Toto Africans on March 3, holders Young Africans (Yanga) will entertain Azam on March 10, while Oljoro JKT will meet Kagera Sugar on March 3.

Police Dodoma now will lock horns with Kagera Sugar on March 11, Moro United will host Ruvu JKT on March 3, African Lyon will welcome Ruvu Shooting on March 7 while Oljoro JKT will entertain Toto Africans on March 7.
