Simba, Yanga play away as Premier League continues

Mainland Premier League continues this weekend with leaders Simba and defending champions Young Africans (Yanga) playing away in Dar es Salaam and Mwanza respectively.

Simba, who lead the league’s standings with 50 points after 22 matches, will be away to eighth-placed Ruvu Shooting at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam tomorrow.

Second-placed Azam, who are three points adrift of Simba, will be away to the relegation-haunted Polisi Dodoma at the Jamhuri Stadium today.

Holders Yanga will be away to Toto Africans at the Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza tomorrow. Yanga have 43 points after 21 matches in the third position while Toto have 20 points after the same number of matches.

In other matches to be played today, Mtibwa Sugar will be hosting JKT Ruvu in Turiani while Kagera Sugar will entertain African Lyon at the Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba.

Moro United will welcome Oljoro JKT at Chamazi Stadium in Dar es Salaam in another match to be played today.

In another match to be held tomorrow, Villa Squad will entertain Coastal Union at the Chamazi Stadium in Dar es Salaam

The league will continue on Wednesday with five matches when Kagera Sugar will host defending champions Yanga at the Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba, Toto Africans will host African Lyon at the Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza and JKT Ruvu will host Simba at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Other matches of the day will involve Ruvu Shooting vs Moro United in Mlandizi and Polisi Dodoma against Coastal Union at the Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.
