



The fourth edition of the Advanced Players League starts today as BMTL Superkings and Tata Super Ace open the event at the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club from 10:00 hours.
The second match of the day would see Castle Rockets battling it out with Uhuruone Rangers at the same venue starting from 14:00 hours.
The twenty20 league has attracted four teams to play in three days from today. There will be a total of eight matches and three matches will be played tomorrow and Sunday.
The fixtures show that Castle Rockets meet Tata Super Ace XI in tomorrow’s fist match of the day starting at 08:00 hours before BMTL Superkings play versus Uhuruone Rangers three hours later.
The final match for tomorrow will be between Uhuruone Rangers and Tata Super Ace XI later in the afternoon.
The Sunday fixture has Castle Rockets versus BMTL Superkings.
The third and fourth position matches will be played from 11:30 hours ahead of the final starting at 15:00 hours.
The three South African players arrived yesterday morning in readiness for the league matches.
These are Nicholas Govender, Kyle Marshall and Ncame Livi who has replaced J.P. Kok, injured during practices.
The South African trio will feature for Tata Super Ace in the league.
In related development, Uhuruone Rangers suffered a pre-tournament blow following the injury of their opening batsman Rashidi Amiri who broke his finger during training session and will be replaced by Ejaz Aziz, a Veecom Warriors player.
Other foreign players from Kenya and India were expected later yesterday evening.
