Tanzania House of Talent (THT) music artist Barnabas Elias is to debut his ten-song album- ‘Kichwa Changu’ today at the Valentine night in Mwanza.

Barnabas said that he will effectively use Valentine day to effectively market his album after it was launched last month.

The album consists a streak of the hits; Tulizana, Milele daima, Nia yangu, Samahani, Moyo, Limenoga Penzi, Kweli, Sitaki Dhambi and Nivumilie.

The album is carried over by 'Milele daima' hit which will be supported by performances from Amini Mwinyijuma, Mataluma and other Mwanza Artists.

Barnabas was born in Dar es Salaam and parents reside from Morogoro. He schooled at Mikoji Secondary School and started music while in Form Two.

His parents were not interested in his music involvement believing that it would help him in life. They insisted in formal education for him.

In 2007, Barnabus signed a contract with the Tanzania House of Talent (THT) under its Director Ruge Mutahabwa.

His first masterpiece was 'Njia Panda' featuring Dorine Kasia (Pipi).

Last month while launching his album 'Kichwa Changu,’ it was glitz and glamour at Mlimani Hall in Dar es Salaam when he took fans by surprise.

It was the fifth anniversary celebration of THT which also gave chance for the launching of Barnabas album and other five THT albums from other artists..

The five other THT artists who launched their albums were Linah Sanga, Amini Mwinyijuma, Barnabas Elias, Mwasiti Almas, Mataluma and Ditto.

THT was founded five years ago with the objective of supporting youth by nurturing their talents.

" My sweet melodies, instrumental songs  supported by THT will today Valentine Day a unique one this year. Happiness will be the ride the day", Barnabas noted.
