The Bank of Africa Tanzania staff joined patients at the Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) hospital to celebrate Easter by providing various necessaries to over 80 patients admitted to the hospital.

Assistant commercial general manager Wasia Mushi said what they had done was part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility.

He said during the colourful event that took place in Dar es Salaam recently, they shared lunch with patients and provided them with various necessaries.

“It was the staff’s pleasure to join CCBRT patients in celebrating Easter. This is one of our corporate social responsibility and we are happy for this,” Mushi said.

He assured the bank’s continued support to CCBRT patients in the future.

One of the patients, Grace Thomas, hailed the bank for the services offered to them.

We are thrilled,” she said, while urging the bank’s staff to continue with their generosity.

She requested other financial institutions to emulate the Bank of Africa Tanzania and extend a helping hand to needy Tanzanians.

Speaking on behalf of the hospital, a nurse, Rose Nderumaki, commended the bank for joining them during Easter and urged them to continue doing so.

“May God bless you all and help you in your service,” she told them.
