Stars face Botswana August 15

The national soccer team,Taifa Stars, will play away Botswana’s Zebras at a Fifa date match.

The Tanzania Football Federation Information Officer, Boniface Wambura, said yesterday that the match will be staged on August 15 in Gaborone.

Stars head coach Kim Poulsen has already named 21 players who will form his squad.

Meanwhile, A Fifa organized administration course will be held from August 6 to 11 at Msimbazi Centre in Dar es Salaam.

The clinic will attract 30 participants from TFF, the Zanzibar Football Association (ZFA), regional soccer officials, premier league clubs and officials from women soccer body.

They are TFF First Vice Chairman Athuman Nyamlani, ZFA president Amani Makungu and TFF executive committee members - Ahmed Mgoyi, Blassy Kiondo, Stanley Lugenge, Khalid Abdallah, Hussein Mwamba and Eliud Mvella.

Others are ZFA Secretary-General Kassim Salum and his assistant Masoud Attai.

Regions to be represented are Kagera (Jamal Malinzi), Dodoma (Nassoro Kipenzi), Pascal Kihanga (Morogoro), Mara (Mugisha Galibona), Mtwara (Vincent Majiri), Morogoro (Hamisi Semka), Kagera (Salum Chama), Tanga (Beatrice Mgaya) and Dodoma (Stuart Masima). Premier League clubs are Coastal Union (Ahmed Hilal) and Yanga (Clement Sanga).

Other TFF officials at the seminar are Angetile Osiah, Sunday Kayuni, Boniface Wambura, Jimmy Kabwe, Saad Kawemba, Neema Lucumay, Grace Buretha, Amina Karuma and Shadrack Nsajigwa.
