The Tanzania Social Action Fund (Tasaf) has set aside over 500m/- to implement different economic projects in Ulanga District, Morogoro Region.
The Tasaf coordinator in the district, Jabiru Nassoro, said yesterday that the money has already been allocated and would be injected into the project.
He identified some other projects as installation of five milling machines at the total cost of 39m/- to support youth employment in the villages of Usangure, Kivukoni and Epanko and a group of elders at Mdindo village.
The coordinator said that other projects to be implemented would include the onions' farmers project at Makanga village estimated to cost 8m/-, fishing project that would take 8m/- and six cattle rearing projects at the cost 8m/-.
The other projects would include beekeeping at the cost of 8m/-, construction of Isiaga and Chikuti dispensaries at the total cost of 84m/- .
Nassoro said that upon completion of the project, the youth and elders would get employment, and manage their affairs better.
