All Dar es Salaam roads will today and tomorrow lead to Leaders’ Club grounds where Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL) through its Brand Kilimanjaro Premium Lager in conjunction with other companies have organized celebrations to mark 50 years of the country independence.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam, George Kavishe who is Kilimanjaro Beer Brand Manager said all preparations are ready and people should come in their large numbers to witness the celebrations code-named ‘Jivunie uTanzania’.

He said the event will be spiced up by live music performances from Twanga Pepeta, Akudo Impact and Msondo Ngoma from the old genre, while Chid Benz, Linex, Ben Paul, Tanzania House of Talent (THT) and Tip Top Connections will represent the modern genre.

Kavishe also said his company in conjunction with Multchoice Tanzania will give music and sports lovers in the country a chance to watch all English Premier League (EPL) and Spanish League at the venue.

“We know that many Tanzanians love watching La Liga, English Premier League and music . We have therefore decided to combine both so that we cerebrate our 50 years of independence in a very happy mood,” he said.

Kavishe said the celebrations will be of historical importance as many youth will have a chance to visit some pavilions which will show-case the country’s history.
