The 61st edition is to be staged at Earls Court Two in London where by 113 beauties from all corners of the globe will fight for that coveted title. Fittingly, Earls Court Two was the venue where it all started in 1951.

The contest is expected to be a mouth watering scenario as the beauties take to the ramp to outsmart one another in different facets in the event scheduled to start at 9.45pm.

Miss Tanzania organizing committee members led by coordinator Hashim Lundenga are in London to cheer the soft spoken beauty queen who also won Miss Ilala title. Reigning Miss World Alexandria Mills of the United States will crown her successor

Meanwhile, the 62nd Miss World pageant will take place in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, on the basis of an official announcement in London on Friday. Over 120 countries are expected to compete in the mystery surrounded Far Eastern country known more for its ancient glories around the world than its modern history.
