Christian women in the country will tomorrow celebrate the 50th Independence Anniversary with a concert organised by Captive and Creative Company in Dar es Salaam.
Coordinator of the festival Janester Mchau said yesterday that the major goal of the event is to bring together women to discuss various issues in daily life.
According to the organizer, the event will take place at City Christian Centre on Friday morning.
The show is named ìKick it up Christian ladies partyî with a `Women Christians and Family.`
Family and marriage, law and property, entrepreneurship and confidence, health and psychology are some of the topic that would be under discussion.
Other issues would be feminism, fiancÈe and christianity, girlhood, children upbringing in the globalize world and how to select good friends.
Mchau said Pastor Imelda Maboya, Dk. Magreth Hogan, the cervical cancer specialist at Muhimbili and other invited guests will all attend the event.
Mchau said funds raised at the festival will go to support orphans and vulnerable people at Nira Children and Youth Orphan Foundation.
We invite all Christian women from different parts of the city to take part in event," she said.
