Waka Waka kids party series open in Mwanza

Mwanza city will tomorrow play host to the opening children’s party out of the three projected by the Coca-Cola Company to be staged in the country this year.

Two other parties of similar magnitude will also be staged in Arusha and Dar es Salaam in a bid to provide entertainment to children in the country as confirmed by beverage’s brand manager Salome Mabirizi.

The event in Mwanza will be staged at the Gold Crest Hotel as over one thousand teenagers are expected to attend.

The objective of the congregation is to engage the youths in active interactive games, funs and foster relationship among themselves.

Youngsters are expected to dress up smartly as their favorite artists and music heroes join them for the entertainment bash.

Musician Mwasiti Almasi from Dar es Salaam whose song Soldier is now riding highly in the music circles in Tanzania is expected to attack the stage.Entry fee to the party is open to any teenager who will be capable of affording to buy two bottles of Coca-Cola which will be readily available for sale at the entrance door.

“We decided to organise teen parties in Tanzania to further promote active life style among the youths and enhance the interaction between the brand and its consumers”, said Mabirizi, Coca-Cola.

The Mwanza launch tomorrow will be followed by the second in the series to be staged in Arusha on Saturday, February 19.

Dar es Salaam will hold its equally exciting show in on Saturday, February 25.

Arusha music fans should brace themselves for a grand entertainment from one of the favorite artists Cpwaa who is known for his appealing voice and non-stop dancing style while on stage.

Long time outstanding Bongo Flava music star Jo Makini will be in command of the Dar es Salaam party.
