Hard tackling Yanga and national team defender Shadrack Nsajigwa has been suspended by the league committee for three premiership games following an offence of staging a non-title fight during a match against Ruvu JKT at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

A similar suspension has also been imposed on Villa Squad player Cyprian Lukindo.

While the duo have been suspended, the premiership committee has fined Simba player Patrick Mafisango to pay half million shillings.

Mafisango pushed referee Isihaka Shirikisho protesting a red card flashed to team mate Haruna Moshi during a match against visiting Oljoro JKT at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Beside Mafisango, Simba has been fined a similar amount following an offence committed by their fans who attempted to throw empty cans and bottles of beverages and water against referee Shirikisho in protest against Moshi's red card.

Meanwhile, a total of 67 million shillings was realised from gate collection during a match between Simba and Azam played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.

The number of spectators who parted with the sum is 19,257. Each team took home 13,182,800.34 after deductions.
