Proceeds of the Redds Miss Kigamboni will be channelled to the rehabilitation works of the Kigamboni Primary School, the organisers have confirmed yesterday.
The pageantry show is expected to be held on June 15 at the Navy Beach from 19:00 hours.
The event’s coordinator Somoe Ng'itu, said the funds will be charity to the school as some of the contestants attained their primary education from there.
She urged Kigamboni residents to turn out in big numbers during the event as the money to be realised will benefit them.
FM Academia is expected to entertain fans during the pageantry show and reputed comedy star Mpoko has been invited to spice up the show.
The K&L firm which is organising the event has urged contestants to get prepared.
Participants of the show include Caroline Dandu, Fatina Francis, Edda Sylvester, Aisha Mussa, Rosemary Peter, Doreen Kweka, Caroline Peter, Agnes Goodluck, Sophia Martine, Rosemary Deogratius, Beatrice Boniface, Juliet Philip and Khadija Kombo.
