Mohamed Rishard `Adolf` has been appointed by Pan Africa club to lead the team into it’s Mainland premiership resurgence bid as the first division league kicks off later this month.
Adolf replaces former team mate Juma Pondamali whose contract had come to an end last month. Pondamali has praised his successor and said he can win the team’s promotion to the next season top flight berth.
The national team goal keeper’s coach said he has been approached by two clubs based in Shinyanga and Muheza immediately after his contract came to an end.
One of the teams expects to feature in division one league this season.
He confirmed his availability to serve any team as talks are still in progress. He expects to travel next week for contractual talks with one of the teams before making any commitment.
He has refused to be drawn into speculation with any team before an official agreement is sealed.
However, former Pan Africa winger Gordian Mapango has been appointed to assist Adolf in the technical bench.
The duo has already started to train the team at the Azania Secondary school grounds.
Adolf was the team’s coach during the last season when Pan Africa plunged into relegation in 2007.
