Twelve contestants will be on show in today’s Redds Miss Temeke beauty pageantry to be held at the PTA Hall in Dar es Salaam.
Preparations for the event are complete according to the organizers as fans would part with 50,000/- to access the venue.
While Miss Temeke will be on today, the Redds Miss Lake Zone that has attracted 20 entrants will also be in action at the Kahama market in Shinyanga tomorrow.
Miss Tanzania’s organizing committee chairman Hashim Lundenga briefly visited contestants of Miss Temeke yesterday ahead of today’s action.
The coordinator for Redd’s Miss Lake Zone, Clara Mwasa, said the contestants are in upbeat mood to replace outgoing Trecy Magulla who also finished runners-up to Miss Tanzania in the previous edition.
Mwasa said fans will be treated with super shows from musicians as some of them are Ugandans during the Miss Lake Zone beauty contestant tomorrow.
Tanzania Breweries is sponsoring the Miss Tanzania event for the first time through Redds beverage.
