


Kilimanjaro Stars massively humiliated underdogs Somalia 7-0 to qualify for the Senior Challenge Cup quarter finals.
Lethal striker Mrisho Ngasa scored five goals while former teammate John Bocco ‘Adebayor’ tallied two in their last Group `B’ match staged at the Lugogo Stadium yesterday.
The Mainland side became the first team to beat Somalia with a large margin followed by Burundi who hit them 5-1 and Sudan managing a 1-0 win.
While Somalia have been eliminated in the regional tourney, the Mainland side will play Rwanda in the quarter final match set for tomorrow. Rwanda defeated Eritrea 2-0 late yesterday.
Kilimanjaro Stars have finished second in the group with six points while Burundi top with nine points. Sudan are third with three points.
