The forthcoming Kilimanjaro marathon to be staged in Moshi on March 3 has continued to enjoy additional support from corporate sponsors, this time Viodacom Tanzania.
The firm has joined the line-up of sponsors for the five kilometre fun run.
The firm’s head of brand and communication Kelvin Twissa said the continued support aims at increasing people’s interaction and as an effort to upgrade health of the participants.
He said the firm is proud to be associated with the event which is increasingly becoming popular.
Twissa said this is the sixth time for his company to sponsor the event and promised a continued support in subsequent editions.
The event is sanctioned by Athletics Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Marathon Club and the Kilimanjaro Amateur Athletics Association.
