Ten aspirants who were locked out of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) general election have appealed wanting the body to include them in the race.

The TFF appeals committee chairman, Idd Mtiginjola, said yesterday that the body will table their appeals and promised that no bias will be entertained.

The other complainant was Omari Nkwarulo who was disqualified by the committee as a presidential aspirant due to lack of knowledge and understanding of the roles of the post he was contesting for.

He said others were seeking representative positions in the TFF executive committee from different regions. They are Farid Nahdi (Morogoro and Coast), Mbasha Matutu (Shinyanga and Simiyu), Eliud Mvella (Iringa and Mbeya), Omar Abdulkadir and Shaffih  Dauda (Dar es Salaam).

Agape Fue has aled against Jamal Malinzi who is contesting for the presidency while Medard Justinian has appealed against Athumani Nyamlani also a presidential aspirant.

Frank Mchaki has appealed against the approval of Hamad Yahya to seek the chairmanship of the Tanzania Premier League Board.

He said the appeals will be tabled tomorrow in the presence of the election committee, the appellants with their attorneys and interested parties.

Other parties are allowed to present supportive written comments today at TFF offices, he elaborated, noting that the

TFF election will be held on February 24 in the city as scheduled.
