Simba trio leave for Nairobi

Three Simba players - Victor Costa, Mussa Hassan Mgosi and Shaaban Kisiga - leave for Nairobi today to join other players who arrived in the Kenyan capital yesterday.
Simba are one of four teams competing in the Tusker Cup tourney which kicks off on Thursday at the Moi Kasarani Stadium.
The other teams are Asante Kotoko of Ghana, Super Sport of South Africa and hosts Tusker.
The Acting Vice Chairman of Simba, Evans Aveva, told The Guardian yesterday that the players did not travel with the team due to unavoidable problems.
Aveva said that the trio would leave by bus, adding that his team had prepared very well to lift honours at the Nairobi tourney.
We want to clinch the Nairobi title and become the best in Tusker organised competitions, said Aveva.
According to Aveva, Simba officials would also leave for Nairobi today by plane. They are Ayoub Semvua, Mohamed Nassoro and Innocent Njovu.
TFF will be represented by Titus Bandawe and Omar Abdulkadir.
Others who are already in Nairobi are Juma Kaseja, Kelvin Mhagama, Salum Mpakala, Nurdin Bakari, Soud Abdi, Said Sued, Boniface Pawasa, Amri Said, Christopher Alex and Shaaban Nditi.
The list also includes Seleman Matola, Primus Kasonso, Nicodemus Nyagawa, Sunday Frank, Ulimboka Mwakingwe, Nurdin Msiga, Haruna Moshi, Yahaya Akilimali, Ekely Bandombele and Emmanuel Gabriel. Striker Athuman Machupa is out of the squad because of injuries.
Officials who are with the team are, head coach Patrick Phiri, Jamhuri Kihwelu (assistant coach) and Mashaka Mkumba (physician).
