Student appeals for help after kidney failure

A student with the Moshi University of Cooperative and Business Studies, Prisca Nselu, is asking for financial assistance from good Samaritans to help her replace her failed kidneys.

Speaking to The Guardian yesterday, Prisca’s mother, Neema Nkanyila, said that doctors in Kenya have said that about 15m/- is needed so as to enable her daughter undergo the operation.

According to her, so far one relative has promised to donate one kidney and that what was lacking at the moment was the money to foot the medical treatment.

She added that the doctors had advised her that the operation had to be made within six months from September 21, failure of which could put Prisca’s life in jeopardy.

’The family is also trying to raise the money but we still appeal to the well wishers to come forward and help so as to save the innocent girl,’ she said.

She requested all those who were ready to help to do so through depositing the money to Account No. 016201020874 at the National Bank of Commerce, Mbeya Branch or call her straight through phone number 0745-045506.
