A sixteen-year-old boy yesterday emerged the winner of 1m/- in the ongoing Vuna Pesa Na Coca Cola competition.

The Coca Cola Area Sales Manager, Bushiri Mgimba named the winner as Ally Bakari, a resident of Tabata in Dar es Salaam.

Mgimba said Bakari emerged the winner after succeeding to collect two bottle covers of Coca Cola, which had number one and two and sent them to the Coca Cola Company.

He said Bakari was the first winner with the prize money followed by another winner who received 500,000/- since the competition started.

’The competition is very simple as one needs to have the required number of Coca Cola bottle covers and get the money,’Bushiri said.

He said so far many people have benefited from the competition as there are some who have received cash prizes of 1,000/-, 5,000/-, 10,000 and 100,000/-.

On his part, Bakari said he was very happy as he didn’t expect to win such a big amount of money.

’I will spend some of this money to open a hair cutting salon and for paying school fees if selected to join secondary school education, since I have just completed my primary school education this year,’ he said.
